Think About Education

May 12, 2008

OK, when I hear the words NCLB, I feel like I always get on my soap box.  “No Child Left Behind” is something that will possibly never work.  NCLB says that every child will all be at the same level for each grade by a certain time.  However, people do not understand that each and every student learn at a different rate, and they so not always comprehend things the same way.  So, in the end, there will always be students that need special ed, or will be be honor classes, and there will be students that be where they need to be which is right in the middle.

My Website

May 12, 2008

I really enjoyed creating my own website. I have never done this before, and I learned a lot doing it. I have learned a lot of this past semester from this class. My website shows who I am and not anyone else. I had a great time making it.

Classmate’s Websites

May 12, 2008

I really enjoyed looking at my classmate’s websites. It showed how we are all different and our websites so just that. I looked at several different websites, and it was hard to narrow it down because each one had great information on it, and I really like how they were layed out.

I have to honestly say that I will be using all of these tools that I have learned as much as I can. Especially my delicious account. I am loving it. It is so much easier to find my favorite websites now than it was before.

Something I Learned

May 12, 2008

I have to honestly say that I had a lot of AH HA moments through out this whole course. It is really hard to narrow it down. I have never listened to podcasts or create podcasts, and know , I have done both. This whole class has just open up my eyes to a whole new world of technology and what it can do for people.

Favorite Blog

My favorite podcast that I listened to was between Driving Questions and The Tech Teachers.  O can’t decide which one I loved the most, because I enjoyed listening to both of them.  Driving questions because I got to actually see and and I could really concentrate on the topics that he was talking about.  The Tech Teachers, because there was always something funny to laugh about, and they were always very informational.
